Jasmine & Daniel’s Wedding

Purchasing her Jolene gown from Mary Be Bridal in LA, our stunning bride Jasmine tied the knot in a beautiful Californian wedding.

‘I knew that was going to be the dress I would marry Daniel, I felt a sense of confidence in myself wearing this dress and accepted my body the way it is. The 3-D florals, the color, the train, the fit, everything about the dress was completely different than any other dress I had seen. It truly is a dream dress.

Tell Us Your Love Story:

How did you meet? Daniel and I met in August of 2009 karaoking to Sisqo’s “Thong Song.” We were both out celebrating a mutual friends’ birthday at Barney’s Beanery in Pasadena, CA. It was my turn to karaoke so I picked the “Thong Song.” To my surprise, Daniel was the only person who got up to join me and sing it. We haven’t stopped karaoking since 🙂

What made the wedding personal to you? It was very important for us to provide a unique experience for our guests, where it truly felt like a celebration of love, not just a party. We hosted two-day pre-wedding festivities, starting with bienvenido drinks along the Pacific Coast on a Wednesday, wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe on Thursday, and finally, the wedding on Friday. What made our wedding unique was not just the location, but the details and effort into making this an overall memorable experience.

What were you most nervous or excited about? I am usually a very calm person, but my emotions were everywhere! I was anxious, nervous, excited, and emotional (not in a bad way). I wanted to hold on to every moment for as long as I could. The day of the wedding, I wanted to slow everything down because I did not want it to end (wedding was from 5pm-2am). My heart was full, and I truly was the happiest bride on Earth.

What was your most memorable moment from your day? I wish I could relive this day every day. But the most memorable moment was right before the dinner. All the guests were seated, music was playing, sun was setting. I looked over at Daniel and said, “Look… look at all these guests here today. We have 150 people here celebrating US. People that drove and flew from far places for US. I feel so blessed. My heart is full.”
