Tell Us Your Love Story
How did you meet? We met when we were only 18 and 19 at a night club – I crossed paths with Luke at the door going to the outside area and he tried his pick up line “hey sexy where you going” let’s just say that didn’t work (or it did years later) it took us till 24 and 25 to actually start dating and the rest is history
How did he put a ring on it? We were holidaying in America – in New York we went to Brooklyn for a nice dinner at Cecconis and at the end of the night we went out in the water whilst I was taking photos of the Brooklyn brides and Manhattan bridge little did I know Luke was behind me down on one knee asking me to marry him 💕 it was the biggest surprise ever I had no idea !
Where did you draw inspiration from? I’m not too sure where I got my inspiration from I just tried to make it simple and “us” we were both on the same page which was great
What made the wedding personal to you? Just having all our loved ones in one place with us celebrating is what made it so personal and special for us
What were you most nervous or excited about? Surprisingly I was no nervous at all I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face all day knowing I was going to be marrying my best friend and once we were married I was excited about walking into our future together hand in hand and what that will bring for us
Now, the most important part – the Dress!
Tell us about your dress? It took me a few visits and on the first visit to bluebell bridal I tried on so many dresses to find the style for me – I thought I had found the dress I wanted but when I went back I didn’t love it. An assitant brought out the Tara Lauren farrow – and boy was she right ! I fell in love and knew this was my dress !! It was perfect and nothing I had tried on compared to it !!
What stockist did you get it from? Bluebell bridal in Melbourne
What was your most memorable moment from your day? Standing in front of the man of my dreams exchanging our own personal vowels and becoming his wife xx along with celebrating with our nearest and dearest
