Tell Us Your Love Story

How did you meet?

It was October of 2016 when Peter and Jenna were first introduced by mutual friends after a University of Toledo hockey game. Despite spending three years studying at the same university, sharing friends from the same circle, and working at the same hospital, the two had never crossed paths. On that next weekend, Pete asked Jenna on a date to the apple orchard. That night, over pizza and laughs, Pete and Jenna quickly learned how much they had in common and it wasn’t long before they began dating that November.

How did he put a ring on it?

Nearly two years later, they planned a trip to visit Pete’s brother, Tim, in North Carolina. Jenna believed the trip was planned for the proposal to Tim’s girlfriend. Little did she know that she would be the one returning home with a fiancé. On the morning of October 6, 2018 on a cliff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Peter got down on one knee and asked Jenna to be his forever.

Where did you draw inspiration from?

Pinterest I guess! But I have always been drawn to the simplicity of neutrals and greenery. I love the moody, modern, but slightly antique vibe!

What made the wedding personal to you?

Our bridal party, our family, our hand written vows, my grandfather’s pin passed down from mother, my grandfathers bracelet that my mother gave to Pete, a first look with my big brother who walked me down the aisle, my brother-in-law who married us, all of our flower arrangements done by my mother, and a first dance with my mother.

What were you most nervous or excited about?

Not nervous at all! But SO excited to see Pete because we didn’t do a first look, and so excited to see and dance with all of our guests

Now, the most important part – the Dress!
