After attending countless weddings as the wedding band, it was time for Tash and Mitch to say “I do” themselves.
Going into wedding dress shopping, Tash didn’t know what kind of gown she was looking for…until she met the Montgomery. Of her Montgomery gown and Easton overskirt, Tash said: “I wasn’t a bride who knew what she wanted at all! I was so indecisive and unsure but Amy from Love Marie Bridal Boutique made me feel really confident in finding the right one. So, when I tried on the Montgomery gown with the Easton overskirt, I knew I had found my dream gown.”

Tell Us Your Love Story
How did you meet?
It’s pretty simple…we met playing in a band together! We’ve been playing music together since we first met and now we have our own band, The Juno’s. We’ve been lucky enough to play at some beautiful weddings and events together.
How did he put a ring on it?
Mitch proposed while we were taking our dog, Millie, to the beach. After a few failed attempts, he got down on one knee on the way back to the car and asked “Will you marry me?” I was completely surprised and couldn’t say yes fast enough!
Where did you draw inspiration from?
We knew we wanted our wedding to have a really relaxed vibe. We wanted it to feel like a fun party, especially as it was our 3rd wedding date after rescheduling due to COVID restrictions. We work in weddings as musicians in a band called The Juno’s, so that helped with knowing the things that we really liked, and the things that weren’t so much our style. We really wanted a special ceremony spot, and for there to be a strong focus on the actual ‘getting married’ part.
What made the wedding personal to you?
Although it wasn’t exactly what we originally planned the first time, having a smaller guest list made it feel very intimate and so full of love. We were just so grateful that the people who were there were able to come during a pandemic so that we could be surrounded by loved ones on our big day.
What were you most nervous or excited about?
We were both probably most nervous and excited about the ceremony equally. We had an incredible celebrant who made everything so easy, but not knowing how we would handle the emotions on the day made us both a bit nervous.
Now, the most important part – the Dress!
Tell us about your dress?
I got my dress from Love Marie Bridal Boutique and the owner, Amy, really helped me throughout the whole process. I wasn’t a bride who knew what she wanted at all! I was so indecisive and unsure but Amy made me feel really confident in finding the right one. So, when I tried on the Montgomery gown with the Easton overskirt, I knew I had found my dream gown.
What stockist did you get it from?
What was your most memorable moment from your day?
For Mitch and I, the most memorable moment was having time alone together after the ceremony while we were taking our portraits. I just remember us looking at each other and both thinking about how we had finally done it!
