Tell Us Your Love Story

How did you meet?

We met at work, and for us, it was love before first sight! Our friends set us up before I joined the company Jeff was already working at. We were both told about how wonderful the other person was before we even met for the first time. We became fast friends and the relationship grew from there!

How did he put a ring on it?

We went to Montreal, Canada over Christmas break, which is where Jeff’s family is from. He got down on one knee at the Royal Botanical gardens in the most beautiful greenhouse.

Where did you draw inspiration from?

We drew inspiration from my parent’s lovely backyard which was the venue of our wedding. It’s one of my favourite places in the world so we wanted to reflect all that beauty in the decor, flowers and details we chose.

What made the wedding personal to you?

What made the wedding personal to me was getting to have it at my parent’s house where I grew up, and where they’ve lived for almost 25 years. I was so happy to be able to share that setting with Jeff, his family and our close friends too.

What were you most nervous or excited about?

We were most nervous for our first dance since Jeff and I don’t have a lot of rhythm!

We were most excited to see all our friends and family together in one place after almost a year and a half of lockdowns. Personally, I was most excited for the pool party at the end of the night!!

My dress was gorgeous! It was perfect for me in every way. I loved the material, appliqué, neckline and style! Most importantly, I felt just like myself in the dress. The gown is an incredible combination of a classic silhouette and modern details.

What was your most memorable moment from your day?

Getting to see my parent’s backyard transformed into a gorgeous wedding venue! Everyone worked so hard to make sure every detail was just right and the end result was beyond perfect.
