For Emily & Kyle’s December wedding they wanted a moody, intimate wedding, think outdoor garden with a jazz club vibe!
Of her RUSSO gown, Elle said: “I went into dress shopping with just a few requests…funky, high slit, low back, and a deep v in the front. As soon as I put Russo on, I knew she was the one. She checked all of my boxes and more! I mean I still can’t get over the beaded fringe – it was perfection. I truly feel like the dress was made for me!”

Tell Us Your Love Story
How did you meet?
Kyle and I met in high school chemistry class. I had always had a crush on Kyle, and after getting to know him, I knew I really liked him. We became good friends and then we both went our separate ways for college. I had a lot of friends who went to the same college as he did, so I found myself visiting often. We would always seem to run into each other when I came down to visit and the rest is history…
How did he put a ring on it?
Kyle proposed at Ray’s on the River in Atlanta, a restaurant on the Chattahoochee River. It was a gorgeous day in May and as we were walking by the river before dinner, he popped the question! I was totally surprised, it was a Tuesday, so I definitely wasn’t expecting it. To top it off, he had our families waiting in a private room so we got to celebrate over dinner afterwards!
Where did you draw inspiration from?
When thinking about our wedding we wanted it to feel romantic, timeless and elegant but relaxed at the same time! Our venue had massive windows lining all four walls and natural exposed brick and beams. I really wanted to show off the space and bring in some warmth and romance. We chose mostly white florals and greenery with some gold and black accents.
What made the wedding personal to you?
Our officiant, Jeremy, made our ceremony so perfectly personal and authentic. Kyle and I have known Jeremy for 10 years and he is someone Kyle + I both look up to, so we were honored when he agreed to officiate our wedding. It was the most incredible feeling standing up there with Kyle and all of our closest friends + family.
What were you most nervous or excited about?
I was most nervous about the weather, which is silly because no one can control that. Throughout the planning process, I was worried about it being too cold with it being an outdoor wedding in December. Turns out, it was 70 degrees and rainy that day! I was most excited about marrying Kyle. After almost 10 years of dating, we were so ready to make it official!
Now, the most important part – the Dress!

What stockist did you get it from?
What was your most memorable moment from your day?
Having all of our favorite people in one place to celebrate Kyle + I. It was such a special day getting to celebrate our love alongside our closest friends + family. Oh and I must say my favorite part of the day was the rain holding off for just long enough to be able to have our ceremony outside. It rained all day and night, but it stopped for an hour to have our ceremony and that just made it all feel right.
