For Brianna + Ariston’s wedding, they were inspired by the historic/hacienda Spanish vibes of their venue and wanted to celebrate with an intimate gathering of their friends and family.
Of her WREN gown, Brianna said: “It was actually the very first dress I tried on and I was instantly obsessed with the style, cut and look of it.”

Tell Us Your Love Story
How did you meet?
We met while I was in Las Vegas celebrating a close friend’s 21st birthday and he was in town to see Kevin Hart at T-Mobile Arena with a couple of his friends. Our groups ended up mingling and at the end of the night, he put his number in my phone. The following weekend Ariston texted me and we discovered we lived relatively close to each other. He asked me on a date to an Angels Game and the rest was history! So what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas!
How did he put a ring on it?
Ariston proposed in Yosemite National Park in front of Vernal Waterfall in August 2020. We were originally supposed to vacation in Kauai for a week, but that was sadly cancelled, so we quickly looked into other places to go since we already had our PTO from work approved and we landed on Yosemite. I had no idea he was planning to propose in Kauai, but Yosemite ended up being so much better because we had our closest friends with us there.
Where did you draw inspiration from?
Our venue gave very historic/hacienda Spanish vibes, so I wanted to go with romantic bright florals.
What made the wedding personal to you?
I loved that our wedding was very intimate. We have been together for so long before we got hitched that our families and group of friends have all assimilated at this point, so everyone there literally knew everyone else. I didn’t realize it in the moment that night, but several people pointed that out to me afterwards and I think that’s what made it so special and personal to us. There was never a dull or awkward moment the entire day or night. Just so much laughter, happiness and craziness all of the same time. It was the greatest party.
What were you most nervous or excited about?
I was so excited for the entire day and to finally marry my best friend! But I would say I was most nervous about reciting my vows through the mic in front of everyone at the ceremony. I just didn’t want to start crying LOL which I didn’t! I was able to hold it together without tearing up or stumbling over my words.
Now, the most important part – the Dress!
Tell us about your dress?
The WREN in Taupe/White was actually the very first dress I tried on and I was instantly obsessed with the style, cut and look of it. I ended up choosing the Wren gown in Ivory, because I figured “you only get married once so get the all white dress!” plus my bridesmaids were in taupe and I didn’t want to match them too too much. I did my due diligence and went to 3 other wedding dress places and still my favorite 3 dresses were all from Tara Lauren. I was so torn between both the WREN in ivory and taupe and the CORRINE gown (so chic!). I loved the simplicity and elegance that these dresses offered plus the flattering square neck cut with built-in corset, the beading on the back and the long train.
What stockist did you get it from?
Styled by TC, Brea, CA – Shout out to my stylist, Kricket!. She must have just known I would have loved these dresses because they were the first ones she brought me.
What was your most memorable moment from your day?
My most memorable moment from the wedding day would have to be seeing everyone’s faces looking at me walk down the aisle with my mom and dad on either side of me, and then finally seeing my husband at the front of the aisle waiting for me. You can just feel the love that everyone has for you in that moment. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that.

Brianna was incredibly stunning in her wedding dress. It truly was my favorite as well. Thank you for featuring Brianna and Ariston on your site. Such a wonderful memory to have.
