Nestled beneath the sprawling Texan sky at The Line Hotel in vibrant Austin, Thea and Jeremiah embarked on their shared odyssey of love this past Spring. Their unique narrative began with a dance floor encounter that fate generously orchestrated. Jeremy’s retelling painted the scene – their eyes met amidst the rhythm, sparking a meeting that led to an enchanting night of an undeniable connection and forever together.
Of her EDIE gown, Thea said: “I couldn’t have felt more beautiful in my dress. The dress was SO important to me. I am someone who still thinks about my aunts beautiful dress in the early 90s and what I loved about it was how incredibly timeless it was. I usually tend to have more of a trendy style and take risks, but I knew for our big day I wanted chic, classy and timeless- my dress was just that. It was stunning and I felt so great in it.”

Tell Us Your Love Story
How did you meet?
In a very on brand fashion, I met Thea on a dance floor. After finally working up the courage to talk to her, we hit it off and spent the night dancing. After that night, we spent the next few weeks talking until we finally saw each other again. Shortly after that, we went on our first official date. We went to a concert, and at a certain point I could already feel myself falling in love with her. I decided then that I didn’t want to spend any more of my life without this person. Since then, we have fallen more for each other every day. I still look at her and feel the same thing I felt that night at the concert. We are so blessed to have found a love like this. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate that love!
How Did He Put A Ring On It?
Jeremy planned a huge surprise proposal that I knew nothing about. I thought we were heading to meet up with two friends for drinks at Zilker Park in Austin and all the sudden Jeremy was down on one knee in the park and about 30 friends and family members popped out surprising us from all over the country. I was overwhelmed with love, so excited and so impressed he was able to pull off such a big surprise with so many people.
Where did you draw inspiration from?
We both love the city & drew inspo from just a classic downtown black-tie optional wedding. Simple, chic, neutrals, classy and timeless was our vibe.
What made the wedding personal to you?
I think the most personal things for our wedding were our vows we each wrote, all the special songs we picked together, the celebration/remembrance we shared for Jeremy’s mom who is no longer with us & some other fun touches we had like adding napkins with artwork my sister drew of our golden retriever puppy. There were many moments and little things that made it feel, just so “us” looking back.
What were you most nervous or excited about?
Jeremy was most excited about seeing me and I was most nervous about reading my vows!
Now, the most important part – the Dress!
Tell us about your dress?
I couldn’t have felt more beautiful in my dress. It was stunning and I felt so great in it.
What stockist did you get it from?
I purchased my wedding dress from A&bé bridal in Austin, Texas!
What was your most memorable moment from your day?
Right after our ceremony and photos, before we entered the reception and were introduced as husband and wife.. our coordinator set up a little room for Jeremy and I to have a moment together. She had cocktails and apps for us & we got to enjoy a few moments just us as husband and wife. It was there, when I saw a little gift Jeremy got me and it was his first draft of his vows in a beautiful frame. It was such a special moment for us to soak in together before the mayhem ensued.
