In the heart of Las Vegas, Madisen and Michael’s serendipitous connection ignited at an outdoor concert, culminating in a love that harmonized through shared passions and deepened over 12 beautiful years, making their intimate wedding at UnCommons a symphony of cherished moments. Amidst the desert’s embrace, their journey, marked by a surprise proposal and the presence of their children, became a melody of vows and tears, resonating with the promise of a lifetime together.
Of her LAYLA gown, Madisen said: “I wore the Layla dress in ivory/blush. It was actually the first dress I tried on and I fell in love instantly. I had never felt so beautiful. I love the detailing and the beads on the flowers and the off shoulder flower straps. I also love the blush color under the tulle, it felt so unique to me as most wedding dresses are usually white or ivory. I thought the pink blush color was so different and fun! I tried on more dresses after that but nothing compared, I knew I found the one.”

Tell Us Your Love Story
How did you meet?
We met at an outdoor concert in Las Vegas. We had the most immediate and deep connection, it felt like we had known each other our entire lives. We both felt so incredibly comfortable around one another and I swear I knew him from a past life. I will never forget that feeling of seeing him for the first time, I knew I was looking at my future husband. We both share a huge passion and love for music so we would travel to different cities to see our favorite bands and DJ’s and our bond grew even stronger. We fell in love hard and fast and the rest is history.
How Did He Put A Ring On It?
At the time we had a daughter that was two years old and I was seven months pregnant with our son. I kept mentioning that I was really bad at documenting my second pregnancy because let’s be real, life with a toddler can get busy! So he set up a photoshoot date. He had our friend meet us in the desert at sunset to take some photos of the two of us, or so I thought. We walked out to our favorite spot and as I’m starting to pose for the camera, he turns to me and gets down on one knee and asks me right then and there. I didn’t see it coming at all! I was so beyond shocked and happy at the same time and to top it off, our friend videotaped the whole thing. I’m so happy I get to relive that moment forever.
What made the wedding personal to you?
Having our kids there to witness and experience our wedding was the highlight. It was a day full of love and emotions and it was a core memory for all of us. I guess we did it backwards, but for us, the outcome was much more rewarding.
What were you most nervous or excited about?
I was really nervous to say my vows in front of everyone, especially because we wrote our own. I was shaking! Luckily our wedding was super intimate and it went much smoother than I expected. I was most excited to finally tie the knot, we had been together for 12 years and engaged for 6 and our special day was finally here.
Now, the most important part – the Dress!
Tell us about your dress?
I wore the Layla dress in ivory/blush. I tried on more dresses after that but nothing compared, I knew I found the one.
What stockist did you get it from?
I purchased my dress from Grey Pearl, a bridal gallery located in Las Vegas. Danielle was so sweet and amazing, I love her!
What was your most memorable moment from your day?
It’s so hard to pick just one moment! It was truly the best day of my life from beginning to end. Having our closest friends and family show up for all of us filled our hearts with so much love and joy. Seeing our son rip up the dance floor was definitely a highlight, and my daughter crying during the father daughter dance was so sweet too. It was seriously the most magical day filled with the most amazing energy. Also would love to give a shoutout to our wedding planners, Just The Vows and the coordinators at UnCommons. Everyone was so fantastic and they truly made it a stress free wedding. Incredibly grateful for them!
